While no babies were born at Arwyp on Christmas Day, lots of New Year babies arrived on 1 January 2008. They were Colin Schutte, Cornelle Pryor, Daniel v d Westhuizen, Jordan Lubbe, Ntokozo Mkhwanzi and Zian Bester.
