Adrienne Bogatie & Erika Bosma of the Arwyp Training Institute compiled the following report:
Norkem Park Primary School requested Arwyp Medical Centre’s help with the first aid booth at their sports festival. Approximately 12 schools participated in the event which was held on 5, 6 and 7 March 2010. The sports were soccer and netball. All the participants in the festival were between the ages of 10 and 12 yrs old.
ATI supplied the students and personnel to man the booth; first aid equipment was supplied by the Arwyp Medical Centre to run this facility. The marketing department supplied tattoos for the children which are always a big hit and the Arwyp banner was put up. ATI information brochures were also available to interested parties. All in all 90 people were attended to for minor medical matters by the Arwyp team.
