The annual Arwyp Medical Centre Golf Day was held on 24 August 2011. Doctors, Health practitioners and hospital suppliers from the Ekhuruleni area came to enjoy themselves for the day at Glendower Golf Course in Bedfordview. A chilly wind looked as if it might deter the golfers’ spirits but this soon died down and everyone went on to enjoy a great day of golf. The golfers were treated to dinner and to the incredibly funny humour of Dr Riaad Moosa who had everyone in stitches – of laughter.The day was won by golfers E. van Staden, M. Saaiman, W. van Vuuren and J. van Vuuren. Golfer of the day had to be J. van Veijeren who managed to achieve a hole-in-one. Arwyp ‘sign-man’ Mark Fisher was the lucky one to walk away with the raffle prize – a wheelbarrow-load of goodies.
