Located in the Arwyp Medical Suites in Blockhouse Avenue, the occupational health and safety clinic provides health services to companies and their blue collar work forces. The clinic’s philosophy is that a person must be healthy for the job and stay healthy for the job for the benefit of himself, his family and the company he works for. The clinic provides the equipment and services needed to meet these needs such as hearing and sight testing and well as lung function testing and ECG’s and standard screening for any abnormalities.

The clinic also provides such services as the completion of paperwork for WCA injury cases. When an employee’s job takes him away from home, he is also often exposed to potential health risks. The clinic provides immunization and counselling regarding the prevention and treatment of possible diseases.  A specialist virologist oversees the clinic.
