Resident beautician

Many studies have shown that a positive attitude goes a long way towards healing any illness and that feeling good about oneself can only contribute to health and vitality. It is also well known that if we look better, we feel better as this boosts our confidence and sense of general well-being. However, most of the time, in most hospitals, this factor is not taken into consideration.
At Arwyp we have tried to rectify this by appointing a resident beauty therapist as a complimentary service to all our patients. At no extra cost patients can request any of the following:

 Manicure - includes painting of nails
 Pedicure - painting of toe nails and relieving ingrown toenails
 Hand massage, foot massage, back and neck massage (depending on patients condition)
 Application of creams
 General pampering, TLC and moral support

Ever since the service has been available, many patients have made use of it and have felt that it contributed towards making their hospital stay a lot easier, giving them something to look forward to, making them feel pampered and aiding their recovery.

Other beauty treatments are also available at an additional cost. The beautician has her own salon in ward 3C where facials, treatments, waxing, sunbed, lash extensions, make-up and massages are done.
